This could be something related to the problem described at:
http://www.ccp14.ac.uk/tutorial/xfit-95/crapfile.htm
To check this, can you go into the Windows explorer,
View Options;
Declick the "Hide MS-DOS file extensions for file types
that are registered"
Then perhaps try to load, then run the c:\koalarie\examples\y2o3.inp
sample and see how this goes.
