It's pretty natural not to add tests in all the languages for bug fixes that are not language-specific, as you would need to add Scala, Java, Python, and R. With Spark Connect, Spark supports more languages like Go and Rust. It's impractical to ask Spark contributors to write tests in so many languages. I don't understand why you pushed so hard for the Java test. We appreciate your contribution, but it's really a waste of time on a debate like this.
