Thank you Pawel and Scott for raising your concerns, even though they are not
technology or charter related.

As to Pawels concern: The chairs discussed during our last meeting that we
would not adopt new documents until our milestone list was small enough.
Most of the documents are now submitted to the IESG apart from the 3 extensions
and versioning related documents. We agreed to have an order in documents to be
adopted, and this RPKI document is the first on our list that is also unrelated
to the extensions documents. The milestone for this document will be at least
Juli 2025.

As to Scotts concern: Though my vote as chair doesn’t count, I’m a non-RIR WG
participant with RPKI expertise, and I would certainly advise the authors to
seek support in the SIDROPS WG by presenting in the SIDROPS session and ask for
review in our WG for this draft. We think it will be an opportunity for us to
seek more participation from other participants in REGEXT outside DNRs. Most
of the review work will be compliance to the RDAP specifications, but the RPKI
technology review will indeed be up to new participants or review by SIDROPS
for the chairs to weigh consensus.

I hope this addresses some of the concerns, and since this adoption request was
supposed to be closed yesterday, we will extend this adoption request with 1
week and will close it on Monday 3 February to allow for more support or
concerns.

Regards,

Antoin
