Granted, of course.
But a developer is hardly a computer newbie, and the original poster
said, "We
need to make it easy for new Linux users to migrate to Linux. Isn't
that
why RedHat invented rpm??" Not having the latest and greatest does not
imply that RH is somehow harder to use than if it did have the latest
and greatest.
And, as I noted, rpms of 2.25.2 are surely available.
