Does anyone have any info (howto's, guides etc) on MySQL? I think it could
be pretty useful. Then again, a complete E-Commerce server howto would be
mighty useful!

Yep. I saw the announcement on /. today or yesterday.

I'm not familiar with all that you mention, however it does
happen from vendor to vendor. The important thing is that we
recognize vendors that "see the light" and accept them. They
will hopefully succeed, and realize they did the right
thing. Then they are more likely to release future products in a
similar manner. This has an effect on other competitors
decisions as well, as well as other companies with totally
different software.

I grabbed MySQL from powertools I believe, and the perl modules,
etc.. from CPAN powertools, and never looked back... Hopefully
RedHat 7.0 will have it all out of the box. If not... powertools
likely will so all won't be lost. ;o)
