Sorry, that first link was for a coupling. Here is a connector link:

When I referred to "wet-loc" I simply meant an EMT compression coupling specifically labeled for use in wet locations. The particular connector I have in front of me has "WET LOC" printed on it. San Francisco code officials check to make sure that the fittings we use outdoors are listed for use in wet locations. -August _____ From: re-wrenches-boun...@lists.re-wrenches.org [mailto:re-wrenches-boun...@lists.re-wrenches.org] On Behalf Of William Miller Sent: Friday, July 24, 2009 9:20 AM To: RE-wrenches Subject: Re: [RE-wrenches] myers hubs August: I am familiar with the Myers hubs. My question was referring to the "wet-loc" connector you alluded to. Who makes those? Do you have a part number? Marco: Don't forget that if you do not have splices in an outdoor J box, and if your wire is wet location rated, you are not required to use Nema 3R boxes and fittings. William Miller At 08:27 AM 7/24/2009, you wrote: Marco, Interesting question. May I ask why you want to use a Myers hub rather than a standard wet-loc outdoor connector? My understanding is that Myers hubs are used for weatherproofing and bonding (when used with a metal box) because the inside nut is serrated. See NEC 250.92(B)(2) and 314.15(A). Anyone agree or disagree with me? -August
