Funny this subject came up -- we just had two terminals in the AC
terminal block of a VFX spin out before reaching the 30 in/lb spec.
OutBack customer support has been great so far -- they're sending us a
new replacement. Personally, I've never used the torque screwdriver on
the OB AC terminals. I just trust my wrist. Another tech (NABCEP) in
our shop tried to take them to spec, and this is what happened. It's a
double stacked system, and the other inverter's terminals reached the
torque spec just fine. Seems like a faulty terminal block. Is the
torque spec too high? 30 in/lb is a lot for small terminals like that. Russ Russell Mueller SolarRay Inc. r...@solarray.com William Miller wrote: Peter: |
