Surly makes the OD Crank which addresses this issue. It's the crank that the ECR, Pugs OP and Moonlander are spec'd with. And yeah, I can't see anyone making a rim brake 29+ although when RBW had a Pugsley it was set-up with cantis. The newer Pugs only have disc tabs. If I'm not mistaken, in that link I previously posted about Daniel touring Chile on a Pugs, his partner is riding the old RBW Pugs. --mike
