The park tool has cable and cable housing ferrule crimpers on the inside of the 
cutting jaws. You can use the housing ferrule crimper to round out the cable 
housing after cutting it. It works quite well his way. Just squeeze hard enough 
until the housing is rounded. Additional finishing, if needed, can be done by 
inserting an awl into the cut end of the cable housing. I used to finish the 
cables sheldon style (grinder/awl) but it was too much work and frankly, it's 
not needed. I've done a boat load of cables with just the park tool and it's 
clean every time. This tool is a must if you're going to cut your own cables 
and housing. Worth every penny new.
