I have the same tool, and it does cut the jagwire compressionless better than the spiral cable. Good advice on angling the cutter, I will try that next time I cut spiral cable. As for the cutters, buy them on fleabay, put them in your tool box and you will thank yourself when you no longer have to futz with wire cutters like I did for years.
