I saw that as well. The interesting thing that distinguishes these from any hacked straight bar + barends is that the bullhorn section is drop bar standard 23.8mm with the ends being big enough for bar-end controls, while the flared extensions are upright bar standard 22.2mm. So basically any control configuration that you could dream up might work on these.
