If none of the bag offerings from Rivendell are fitting the bill, you might want to consider custom/made-to-order bags from these two talented artisans.
I'd like to personally attest to the quality of Ely's bags. I do not own one, but have seen several on bicycles in the SF Bay Area. http://ruthworkssf.blogspot.com/ The other solo bag shop in this area is Zugster, run by Adam A. The reason I bring him up is twofold - first, he made my square rando bag and second, he's starting up construction again after a lengthy hiatus. http://www.zugsterbags.com/ FWIW - I run my rando bag on a Nitto Mini front (though in retrospect, I would have more deliberately worked with Adam on the base-to-rack attachment point. It absolutely works, but is not intuitively obvious. I had not specified anything other than his regular base.) I've packed it pretty full on occasion, and have thrown it all over the place on the trails and roads and singletrack of this region. It sits under a Soba bar (Noodle analog) with nary a problem. http://www.flickr.com/photos/cyclofiend/sets/72157617134694243 - Jim / cyclofiend.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
