i don't think that's right, if you look at that atlantis pic here, http://www.rivbike.com/product-p/f-atlantis.htm (first one), notice the front rack has a bar in the middle, and also notice the rod that goes from the midfork brazon to the rack, the rack has a corresponding tab to bolt the rod.
