Minh, I personally don't really like front loads, perhaps because I've never tried it on a bike optimized for it.
I've tried baskets. rando bags. even the platrack/slickersack combo, but I particularly dislike the way the front wheel flops over as soon as you put a load on it. The only thing of substance I carry in front any more is my dog, in a wald basket strapped to a CETMA rack. Since he's small enough to fit in the basket, he's also small enough to lift up after I've straddled my bike and stabilized the bars to load him in.
