I've had a few lights stolen. I don't leave them on my bike anymore. But I have been leaving my saddlebag on for a while. Two or three years and it hasn't been stolen (knock on wood). My thinking is that people who steal bike parts don't know what they're worth and they're a little tricky to get off. Or I've just been lucky.
