I know there's at least one other NYC Riv guy on here, and a few in CT, MA, 
DC and you can't miss BobbyB from NJ.
I live in CT and work in Manhattan. I ride my QB or LHT to the station 
every day and take the train in.

I'm not sure what you mean by the Riv "aesthetic." There's plenty of people 
making works of art in steel on the east coast - Sachs, Weigle, Bilenky, 
ANT, Serotta, etc etc. Though I agree it's pretty hard to find a group of 
folks to ride with regularly who all have canvas bags and wear seersucker. 
Bike clubs seem to be all the same to me no matter where you are. I 
recently stumbled across the Southern *California* Three *Speed Touring*Club 
and really wish there were something like that locally!
