...my comment to sell it, and the low end of my tongue-in-cheek range
of value was based on the assumption that '27" wheel all rounder',
with lowercase 'a' and lowercase 'r' indicated that the original
poster was using 'all rounder' as a descriptive phrase, meaning it is
an old (mid-80's or earlier) lugged steel sport touring bike of some
sort that really does have 27" wheels.  If it really is a Rivendell
All-Rounder, and presumably does have regular sized wheels, then yeah,
keep it and ride it.  I agree with the consensus that people should
disabuse themselves of the notion that there is such a thing as a bike
that is 'too nice to ride' or at least 'too nice to commute on'.
