Sounds like no, if you've got qualms about the fit and guilt about
using it as a beater.  If you find it's worth less than what you paid,
then yeah, maybe you'll decide to keep it and use it as a beater.  If
you find it's worth a lot more than what you paid, then sell it, get a
beater that fits, and pocket the difference
