I don’t know if I’m bucking any trend here, but my favorite sandwich for a day of riding is a Shooter’s sandwich. If I’m touring, my favorite sandwich is ham and Swiss on half a baguette with a little mustard. The difference? I have to make my own Shooter’s sandwich at home, but I can usually get ham and Swiss anywhere. Sometimes a B&B I’m staying at would be talked into making the ham and Swiss for lunch, and that’s fun because each B&B would make it a little differently.
