Time. Hassle. I've got three dedicated dynamo bikes, and one is built for internal wiring through the fork and rack. I haven't run the wires and attached the plugs because I don't trust that I can do a good job. My bikes look awesome even with external wiring, so I'm not too concerned with losing style points.
