I've used both the 35mm Paselas and the 38mm Marathon Racers on the Atlantis. I actually wore out the tread on the Paselas and never had any problems with the side walls. Both ride nicely. I would say that the Racers ride a bit smoother; probably just due to the slight increase in volume, but it could have something to do with the casing material as well. I don't know if I'd say that the Racers have more tread than the Supremes. The tread pattern is really shallow and they almost function as a slick. That said, I've ridden the Racers on gravel and they perform well. The Racers *seem* to be wearing a little better than the Paselas so far. I'd say that I like the Racers better but they're considerably more expensive than the Paselas too.
