You may have bought already but my four JB greens measure between 34 and 35mm the two most broken in being 34.8 and 35.1, I am not sure you are gaining anything with the Paselas. I have been looking at the spec chart for the Racers too, but too cheap to pull the trigger, based on ETRO the 38 racers should be 40mm wide. I have found the schwalbes measure true to stated ETRO data not what is on the box at times. Proportionally it should be like moving up from Rolly Pollys to JB, the 38 racers are the next step as far as I can see.
