Look under the heading of "really bad ideas".... ;^)

I've seen them down in the low 40's, albeit in the black finish.  Ride-buddy
and master-of-the-usefull hack JimG switched from 287-V's to CCrk's and has
never looked back. Thought he had a writeup on his site, but cannot come up
with it right now.
