I have found a few things to be true: - Upright doesn’t have to mean Albatross bars at max height. I’m upright with my MAP bars which allow my wrists to bend somewhat similarly to hoods. - Saddles tend to need be differently shaped/positioned to ride in different postures. - Geometry of a bike can make it not great for different people riding in different positions. My Bleriot was always drop bars or Jitensha bars. - I kind of hate Albatross bars too. Riding them isn’t a fun for me but actually can be terrifying based on how they are set up.
