Not sure if anyone spelled this out clearly, but i like 9-speed because it all works, road mixed with mountain. Shimano mountain 10 speed is not compatible with anything else. 10 speed road is compatible 8 or 9 speed. I will spare everyone the long version since i am on my phone.
