Thanks guys. Hey Patrick, i didn't mean to call you - i leave my phone in my 
scrubs pocket and have a bad habit of pocket dialling when i run.

My friend's name was John Lee; we worked together in the ER for a while and in 
2011 when i was prepping to bike across canada he taught me a bit about bike 
maintenance.  When i returned enthused, i moved into a place quite close to his 
and he'd come over quite regularly to have a glass of whiskey and wrench on 
bikes or just chat.

I suspect 99% of his interactions on list were probably to buy things. And he 
had no qualms about trying to get a price down. But he was one of the most 
generous people i've ever met; he'd fight to get a price down, then give the 
part away to a friend.

Anyway, i appreciate all the positivity.
