Mhmm! well said! i think it's great that so many listers here are actually invested in the list and fellow listers, and act accordingly. I don't know how many private emails i've sent you all asking about this model or that model, and always get the most helpful responses with pictures and measurements, ride reports etc. I in turn try to do the same whenever I can with my own pictures, measurements, and my closest explanations as possible, and it's enjoyable to share my experiences and try to help others.
It's especially enjoyable when there is a fairly new lister who is hemming and hawing about plunking down a lot of money for their first rivendell and asking for advice on which model, and when everyone gives their own opinions but always ends with "do it you won't regret it!". then a couple of months go by, and the same person writes a post about how they just purchased a riv and how awesome it is! Also the amount of trust on this forum vastly sometimes vastly outweighs the trust i have in various face to face interactions in areas of my life...
