I had Albatross bars on my Protovelo when I first got it. I loved
them. The more I rode the bike with other people, and the longer
distances I rode, the more dissatisfied I became. In other words, when
I began to use the bike for different purposes (riding harder for
longer), the Albatross bars weren't helping me do what I wanted -
Noodles are very comfortable. The other thing I found is that the
A'bars were working my quads more than other leg muscles.

I have Albatross bars now on my Kogswell errand bike, and like 'em a
lot.

So, I think they are good for distances, but I didn't like 'em for
more spirited riding.
