Wow, once I took the time to figure out what "Cis-gender" was.... all I can say is wow.
As for acting like you belong and bypassing rules, Justin is right, act like you belong and all is good. I do it all the time via my other hobby of photography. Hold a nice camera, stick a large lens on it, sling a bag over your shoulder and walk right in. I do it all the time at college sporting events. My personal rule is arrive early and be visible. Once the security guys see you, they will assume that you are supposed to be there. Back to bike related, roll it on in but stay out of other people's way. Once the store staff see you a few times, it won't be an issue. Just don't make it an issue by bringing in a dirty bike, covered in snow and ice messing up their floors....
