Our local hardware store now allows me to park my bike by the cashiers
since (a) they know us so well and (b) they love the look of the bike. Of
course they also display a classic cars in their entry occasionally. I
also do most of my grocery shopping at Whole Foods now despite my feelings
about them. I shop there because they have bike lockers. I used to fear
getting there to find all 12 used but that fear quickly subsided when I
discovered the most used at any given time I've been there is 2. Kinda sad
really. It would be nice to live in a world where they need more bike
lockers than car spaces.

Of course fights break out over the electric vehicle charging stations!
That's life in the Bay Area I guess.
