It was probably my fault for giving her such a nice bike when she and my son were living at 50th and Pine. But they don't have a car, and she was riding an old single speed which was fine for her daily commute to Center City, but not much good for other uses (at least those that involved much climbing of hills). She had indoor storage at the school where she teaches, and she brought it inside (or tried to!) every day when she arrived back home. It's a cautionary tale.
