Those brakes have some of the worst brake pads I have ever experienced. They came on my Quickbeam. I immediately replaced them w/ Koolstop blacks (Sunny SoCal!) and the performance was doubled if not tripled. A little bit of squeak no matter what I do, so I think it's just the inherent flex in the cheapie brakes.
If I had the $$$ floating around, I'd replace them w/ some Pauls, but I can live with the small amount of squeak.
