Glad the fix was so easy. All too often we over-worry these things. FWIW, the no-longer-made Ultegra headset on my Atlantis went 9 or 10 years, with only occassional attention. I changed to the Tange roller / ball headset while doing some other fussing about. It just seemed like time, after well over 40,000 miles.
