Most mountain rears handle 32+, and most mountain fronts handle triples. It's not to say that you can't find a road RD that will comfortably shift to 32, or use a road double FD to shift a triple (I've been doing so for 10 years).
It's just the difference between "Try it and see" and "This will definitely work".
