Even if it's "dead" 1" threadless is pretty easy to do- most 1 1/8" stems come with a shim for 1" and then all you need is spacers and a headset, which i'm sure Riv could source easily (i think Ritchey makes one?). Definitely easier than trying to make a threaded setup work with a 1 1/8" headtube.
