I just received a Carradice Super C saddlebag from SJS Cycles in
England -- paid $113 total with shipping. I plan to use it for day/
light touring and commuting (sans laptop computer) with my AHH (I've
got Arkels that I put on my All-Rounder). Agree about the appearance
of the hardware compared to Baggins, Sackville, et al, but we'll see
how it actually stands up. The Super C has four plastic D rings on the
lid, which will be handy for a shoulder strap. After some use later
this spring, I may post a review/impressions. I did think the price
was right compared to some other options -- but I'm also not
pretending that this bag is of the overall super quality of those
offered by Rivendell. Had a Paladin once and sold it -- shouldn't
have! -- Forrest (Iowa City)
