My wife currently has a Bleriot with CR18 rims. These rims are severly
oversized and I can barely change a tire on them in my shop so there is no way
she will be able to change a flat on the road.
I was considering replacing these rims with some Weinmann ZAC 19 rims. I went
to a very well known east coast bike shop's web sited and it said that these
rims had been discontinued for quality control reasons. Does anyone know if
there is a history of problems with these rims? I don't want to invest again
in a set of rims and spokes only to find the rims don't work.
My wife's Glorius has a set of wheels with Velocity rims so I am familiar with
the good but pricey rims. If I don't get the warm and fuzzies about the ZAC 19
rims this is what we will use.
Thanks.Larry Powers
