I don't need to use anything too mountainy as my plans are more along the lines of a super-stout Ahh-rounder type ride, so let me know what you think might fit the bill - and the rims. Marathon XR 42s?
Marty Marty: That's a great tire choice. I've been using 35mm Marathon Supremes (got them for flat resistance for road touring) since last summer & found them to work much better than expected on hard packed trails & fire roads. Surprising grip for a road tire & zero flats. No experience in really soft stuff or mud. But the XR bills itself as an expedition tire so it should be even better in a wider range of conditions. Should work great. dougP --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
