X-Qmail-Scanner-2.04st: Requeuing: Nested quantifiers in regex; marked by <-- HERE in m/^.*v+i+a+g+r+a+* <-- HERE $/ at /var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl line 1454. That's definitely the problem. Once I removed the 'v+i+a+g+r+a+' line out of the quarantine-events.txt file, then regenerated the database, the qq temporary problems went away. So there's something in the patch, or in the system, that doesn't like that one regex line.
