Has everybody forgotten what happened with Red Hat 7.3? The stores
placed boxed sets on the shelves before the mirrors were opened up.
Then, there was this nasty thread that went on for several days about
how unfair it was for the stores to get their grubby little hands on the
software before the loyal downloaders had access. It doesn't matter what
they(RH) do, they can't please everybody. Red Hat 8.0 was released in
the same manner as every release that I remember (except for 7.3). After
the retail mess that was created with 7.3, it appears that Red Hat
simply reverted to tradition!
