The key words were "dedicated" and "renaming" (as opposed to "design"?). You probably read my post as you went along and didn't get it right the first time, I suggest a meeting with your staff in order to interpret the post correctly. Maybe you usually spend a couple of meetings *dedicated* to naming *one* menu option of your app. What? 7, 8 hours? Well, it's probably justified for the "Open" option, maybe you'll have to spend up to 12 hrs for the "Save" option. And then come the meetings to decide on the quick access character.
