OK I'll ask, what was so hard / different from your mySQL experience?
Did you not have an IDE to generate all the syntax?  You couldn't just
point and click and stuff got done?

I remember those early days when it was a text editor and to pretype
it and paste it into another app to submit it.  Those were not the
easy days at all.  :)

Could you not connect to the db because nobody told you how to open it
up for use?   Amazing how they have secured these things and that
security really works.
