We get these same spurious claims around the south pacific. There are claims that SOME islands are being inundated by global warming yet others are not. One thing sea level is NOT, is 'picky'. If it was rising EVERYONE would be aware. Sea levels off australia's east coast have risen about an inch in the last 30 years yet a few hundred miles away we are asked to believe the sea has risen a foot or more and still rising. Has it EVER occurred to these alarmists that perhaps these islands are SINKING?? After all, Australia is extremely geologically stable (one of the most stable areas on earth actually) and so we are an excellent control group for sea levels. These islands are sinking - as islands tend to do. Just a bit more of the global hysteria, totally devoid of fact and reason.

How do we know that all of the drilling and taking out oil and water aren't displacing things? How do we know that the latest conspiracy theory about our cia inventing some type of earthquake making machines isn't having unintended side effects There are so many possibilities and we won't know which one is correct until history has recorded it. at least that is the way it used to be because now we have countries that are rewriting history. Yeah I know ya'll don't like thinking about anything but the details, and even I will admit that I used to believe everything I read or saw in the media, but the last 9 years or so has taught me well that Tokyo Rose is alive and well in America, and maybe even in all of the countries and now I may be labeled a skeptic, but show me proof first, and by proof, I don't mean proof that scients have knowingly doctored up to lend credibility to their theory. Bottom line, we don't know that island wasnt underwater 1,000 years ago.
