Yesterday I met this bloke. He had an ugly face and looked dangerous, but I told myself - I've only seen him for about a minute, I don't have enough data to judge him.- Then he looked at me in an aggressive way, I told myself - It can be interpreted in many ways, maybe he looks at me this way for some other reason. - I saw him curl his fist and prepare a punch and I told myself - Don't get ahead of yourself, he may be aiming at somebody else, I've only seen him for 5 minutes, I don't have enough data to know for certain he intends to hit me.- After he hit the shit out of me, while I was in the floor bleeding I understood the old adage that says that if it looks like shit and smells like shit you don't have to taste it to know it is shit. All these pseudo-reasons you wave in front of us would be moot if it were YOUR home, YOUR town, and YOUR family in danger.
