I did, and I know you do, its this premium number business I hate. I can understand if people wont pay for warranty after the 12 month is up but why should someone pay premium rate phone calls to get something fixed that is a flaw in the design? That and the fact they had to be threatened to get a resolve makes me think bad guys. Dell didn't do that with one I had from them. I arranged it on the web, they picked it up and delivered it repaired. I didn't have to do anything other than put a fault report in. The machine (acer) itself is great though I prefer the Inspiron I had before for features like turning itself off when the lid was down. Allen
