I've just had a very frustrating day! My wife's new machine, an Acer, would
boot up then briefly show a blue screen with the error message 'Page Fault
in Non-Paged Area' followed by a re-boot then the same BSOD again. I tried
various things then called Acer support in UK for help. I was very
impressed with them. The guy I spoke to did some ferreting around and told
me that the problem was a conflict between an Acer supplied application,
eLock, and AVG. He recommended removing eLock using Control Panel which I
did and cured the problem.

I offer this nugget in the hopes it might prevent others having similar
frustrations!! I think the conflict only occurs with some updates of AVG.
