I have a belief in God, and I do believe that there was guidance from God in
the way that we have all come into being. Evolution has a solid scientific
basis, so there would be no reason for me to have any doubts about it. If
Evolution has been established, and I believe in God, then of course I must
believe they somehow fit together.

I know it sounds like I hold two opposing views, but the point I am trying
to make is that something provides a "push" for evolution to move into a
particular direction. I don't believe that the only push comes from natural
selection. I think there are likely many forces involved. We know that
people who get really tuned in to their body's biorhythms can affect their
heart rates and healing and so forth. What if fish moved to land in part
because they wanted to, and the desire had an impact on their evolution?

I have come to believe that there are guiding forces involved in addition to
natural selection, and I believe one of those forces is God.

There is no way to prove my belief, and I am in no position to attempt such
a proof.

Kristyne
