I agree with you on that one Gene - I've done some scanning stuff in the
past - and I remember the frustrations of trying to scan and things not
work - whether its Light levels or even Quality of the printed bar code
being bad!

Personal preference is very powerful thing.
Are the scanners accurate? Because I have been unable to find
additional work in IT after my hours were cut, I have been working
part-time doing inventory counting. I use a scanner a lot. 1)
Misscans can happen. (What is read is not valid. A retry usually
works.) 2) Sometimes, the scan gives trouble. I find that the light
level can make a big difference. After trying, say, a half dozen
times, I just enter the number in by hand. Maybe, the users are doing
this.
