I've been using a annual software support contract that includes 24 hours (which averages out to 2 hrs/month) for $xxxx. Here's the appeal for the client: whatever hours they do NOT use get credited back to them towards DEVELOPMENT hours (not support hours) towards new product development or changes/enhancements to existing products.

It's a win/win, imo:  we both get something out of it.
