I should have added that the free one in Samsung is downloaded maps. They go
on the phone so no data plan is required.
I agree with Paul that the small antenna is not a big deal. May take some
time to catch the satellites but its fine otherwise. Biggest problem is the
car windscreen.

If you've got any Android phone Google Maps/Navigation gives you free GPS
software.
Works as well as Tomtom etc.  Audio navigation etc.  You do need a data
plan, but you can cache map areas (not sure that works with navigation).
